The XXXX Group is the crown jewel of XXXX Corporation, creating the best
database suite of products in the industry with hundreds of thousands of
enterprise and SMB customers worldwide. The hottest product coming out
of database group is Database Machine and Exadata Storage Server.
The XXXX team within the database server division is a well-respected,
highly sort-after group with a long track record of success. The group
focuses on improving scalability, high availability, reliability and
performance of Oracle Database Server products by developing and
carrying out stress, integration, system and performance tests, which
simulate complex real world scenarios. The team discovers critical
product defects and works with development groups to resolve them
resulting in the highest quality of products before they get released to
customers.
As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work with the
hottest product in one of the world's largest business software
companies. You will take an active role in the definition and evolution
of standard practices and procedures. Your work will directly impact the
quality and robustness as well as customer's experience of Exadata
product. As a member of the SHARP team, you will have the opportunity to
work with the full technology stack that Oracle has to offer, ranging
from the latest flash cache technology on the hardware side to the
latest compression technology that the world's most advance database
software provides.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with product development and management team, review
functional and design specs and participate in product design
discussions
- Design system test plan and write test specs- Design and implement
test suites that simulate large scale real world customer applications
- Design and develop software to automate and/or enhance software
development, test and debug procedure
- Execute test suites to discover defects in the products
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve the problems encountered
in the test
- Provide feedback to development teams on design issues and/or other
scalability and performance issues |
