Intern - RF Power Amplifier Characterization Engineer
Job Posting: Feb 11, 2011
Primary Location: US-AZ-Tempe (AZ34)
Job: Intern (technical)
The candidate will interact with RF design/applications engineers and
technicians to provide a highly customized automated RF characterization
system. Primary responsibilities include writing code for automated report
generation. The position allows for creative problem solving and
demonstration of superior programming skills while learning RF and microwave
design and measurement techniques. Candidate is highly motivated.
Laboratory experience with DC IV, small signal s-parameters and large signal
measurements are considered a plus.
Qualifications:
*
Strong programming skills in C/C++, Matlab, Visual Basic or Java
*
Experience with automated test environments (ATE) tools such as
Labview
*
Experience with or desire to learn RF or microwave circuit design
techniques an advantage
* Experience with RF test instruments such as spectrum analyzers, signal
generators and vector network analyzers an advantage
*
Fluent with Microsoft Office
*
Excellent communications skills, works well with others
*
