me but the HR has little experience in those processes. The following are
the specific statements in I-129 form I need to select from which are giving
me trouble:

Part C. Numerical Limitation Information “CAP exempt”
e. The petitioner is requesting an amendment to or extension of stay for the
beneficiary’s current H-1B classification
g. The beneficiary of this petition: (1) was previously granted status as an
H-1B nonimmigrant in the past 6 years,
It appears that I might mark an “x” in either “e” or “g”, as either
one would appear to be a correct statement re: extension of an H-1B petition
from an initial 3-year period to a second 3-year period.
Is there anyone here who knows how to fill out this part? Thank you in
