加州,New York 附近会不会比较累。
是不是德州啦,北卡了,这种地方算比较好的?房价低. | P**********c 发帖数: 3417 | 2 Depends on your personal needs.
IMHO, right now the best places are Texas and Seattle. No state income tax,
healthy economy, reasonable housing price, business friendly state. Pay is similar to more expensive areas in the technical fields. They are largely gaining jobs from other states right now.
Of course if you can get a government job, Washington DC is nice too. Super low jobless rate (the lowest in the whole country right now) and high pay in general(11 of the 25 highest income counties are in the DC metro area). Living cost is reasonable.
New York is pretty stressful and California economy has gone to the dump. IT seems fine in Cali, especially software, but other areas haven't picked up and the state still has one of the highest jobless rates and one of the biggest budget deficit in US.
Both New York and Cali are expensive but I think New York is a little bit more worthy it because it provides a different life style. Cali is just being expensive for no apparent reason right now. It still hasn't waken up from the dot com bubble and constantly hoping another one will soon be created to pull it from the mess.
