RESPONSIBILITY
* Prepare and process semi-monthly payroll timely and accurately for
employees
* Process pay advances, retro payments, and miscellaneous deductions &
refunds
* Generate payroll-related reports including headcount, new hire,
termination, and ad-hoc reports, as requested
* Assist employees with payroll-related questions
* Take checks and cash payments, deposit to bank and prepare deposit by
sources
* Ensure all documentation is properly authorized and supported
according to company policies, procedures and regulatory practices
* Conduct timecard tracking
* General accounting functions
* Check bank accounts for exception notice, online fund transfer,
contact bank to verify wired-in fund transferring, processing refund
* Maintain employment files and performance review records
* Process state and federal unemployment information forms
* Administer PTO accruals and adjustments
* Communicate with Finance team in China as well as other related
departments
* Perform other administration duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
* Experience with general accounting functions
* Knowledge with accounting software, preferably Quickbooks
* Detail-orientated and highly accurate
* Manage confidential information in a professional and discretionary
manner
* Excellent communication, and analytical skills
* Be a team player, responsive, and eager to assist wherever needed
* Be detail oriented, and a fast learner
* Receive constructive critique and direction
* Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is a must |
