Responsible for architecting and implementing complete software products or
solutions in C/C++ on Windows and Linux platforms.
Essential Functions (includes but is not necessarily limited to):
• Develop architecture and implementation solutions to project
functional and attribute specifications.
• Responsible for software design, architecture, implementation (
primarily in C/C++), testing, debugging, assurance testing, and development
of related documentation.
• Responsible for integration of biometric technologies in software
modules or applications.
• Plan and develop test programs for prototypes.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
• Advanced technical knowledge in programming specialty.
• Strong understanding of mathematics and statistics.
• Strong code design, optimization and debugging skills.
• Understanding of the software development and project management
process.
• Strong problem-solving, written and verbal communication, team
and leadership skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of face and fingerprint recognition
technology or other biometrics a plus.
Qualifications and Experience:
• MS or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or
related technical field.
• 3-8 years experience with extensive architecture development.
• Experience in API design, GUI design, Objects Models and/or
operating systems.
• Experience in both Visual C++ and GNU C/C++ development
environments.
• Experience with MASM and GAS, and background in image processing
a plus. |
