Reports to: Chief Nutrition Scientist
Location: Guangzhou, China
JOB SUMMARY:
Provide Nutrition Science expertise to support business. Support innovations
in products and messaging. Keep up with advancements in Nutrition Science
field. Conduct scientific assessment and review scientific substantiation to
support nutrition science based claims. Represent company on nutrition
initiatives in collaboration with organizations and experts. Interact with
all scientific sectors (academia, health care professionals, government, and
industry peers) to develop and maintain relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Assist Department Head to implement Department objectives.
2) Represent Department and develop science substantiations in support of
other key functions.
3) Review and approve labels and promotional materials.
4) Develop and maintain database of documents and scientific literature.
5) Develop or translate internal and external training materials.
6) Organize Nutrition Science related academic activities.
7) Build and maintain relationships with nutrition experts.
8) Monitor the advancement in Nutrition Science.
9) Accomplish other tasks to meet the Department objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION Degree – Ph.D in Nutrition or closely related discipline.
Language – Fluent and proficient in Chinese and English
PRIOR EXPERIENCE More than 2 years industrial or academic experience.
TECHNICAL SKILLS 1. Advanced Nutrition Science knowledge and in depth
understanding of biological processes and effects of nutrients in human body
.2. Proficient in literature search, evaluation and integration.3.
Capability of acquiring new knowledge and technology. 4. Presentation and
communication.5. Organization and coordination in projects and academic
activities.6. Team player.
