发帖数: 391 | 1 Does anyone know how to handle such circumstances? I am a F1. I lost my job
due to budget cutting last year and I came back to a university. My
concentration is more or less related to the previous degree. Also, the OPT
and the grace period ended last year.
If I have an offer, how may I start? I have these options: (1) use CPT-->
H1, this is the best, (2) apply for H1B--> start on Oct 1st, (3) apply J1--
>waiver--> H1B. I am not sure if they can act as exchange sponsor.
I posted this because the new program director looks not easy to
negotiate. Somewhat tough.
Maybe, I can contact some community college and tell them at the very
start that I want CPT first before I move on to their coursework?
Apart from these options, do anyone know any other options?
