发帖数: 391 | 1 After so many trials and errors, I got one oral offer finally. When I
applied, I answered "Yes" to their H1B sponsorship question. I waited for
the formal offer to start. Then came the news that they don't do sponsorship.
I have been wondering if I still have any hopes. I asked this questions
many times. Each time, I tell myself: "Stand up. Walk ahead. Don't be
bothered by any setback."
Right now, I don't want to do any presentations or publications. No use.
One year ago, I would do it. Now, I realized the timing is the most
important for job hunting. Our profession is too narrow and job market warms
up too slowly.

Sometimes, I do feel depressed and low-spirited, loosing my temper and
yielding at family members. I didn't stop hurting my family until they were
hurt.
Next, I walked out of the shadow and move on. | p****j
