Job title: C++ Developer

Responsibilities:
• Provide support in technical design, development, implementation
and maintenance of company’s IT systems to supported business units
• Prepare detailed specifications that describe input, output and
logical operation; and convert them into a series of instructions coded in a
computer language
• Work with business analysts and architects to define and plan the
introduction of new systems or changes to existing systems, identifying
costs and requirements and ensuring plans are in place to exploit them
• Apply specialist expertise in the development of IT systems with
the objective of optimizing operational performance and improving quality
while increasing cost-effectiveness
• Supervise the rectification of production system issues with the
minimum disruption to the business
• Develop an expert-level understanding of major local systems
• Ensure compliance with all relevant internal instructions,
internal control standards and external regulatory requirements, including
the management of operational risk and adherence to the Group’s standards
of ethical behavior
• Establish and maintain successful relationships with key business
users, sponsors, and peer IT groups to ensure transparent communication.
• Review and manage updates for the respective global program
roadmaps and associated resources for task delivery including release
planning, approvals & communication to peers and stakeholders.
• Review and manage improvements across various streams of
production change in relation to user education, optimizing use of the
platform by associated teams (e.g. Front Office and Operations).
• Maintain discipline with regards to the Change and Release
management procedures
Essential Qualifications:
• 3+ years software development experience in C/C++
• Strong knowledge of USD electronic market with actual experience
of developing applications in pricing, electronic distribution, quoting (
RFQs), execution and STP
• Experience with USD Government Bonds and rates derivatives –
from FO perspective: pricing, curve building, P&L, Risk, etc.
• Well versed with real time market data technologies (Tibco, MQ,
RV, similar) and databases
• Experience with the following vendor software: ION Platform,
TIBRV Messaging, TradeWeb/Bloomberg Bond Trading API
• Strong relationship management skills with proven history in
dealing with stakeholders and globally distributed project teams
• Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Proven ability to manage and work within multiple projects,
priorities and demands in an efficient and dynamic manner that is proactive
Essential Skills:
• Programming Language: C/C++, Java a plus, Unix Shell script, C#,
& SQL.
• Programming Skill: Strong in multithreading, Socket, Spring
Framework, & OOP
• Operating System: UNIX/LINUX & Windows
• Development IDE: MS VS 2008, Eclipse, CVS
