个人工资ms要高点。
我可以理解待遇差的专业phd多，职位高的人里ms比例高。但条件都一样的话，难道因
为phd从事的职位都比较烂？ |

possibly great long term payback potential, like the chance of becoming a professor. As for programmers or other high-tech engineers, most big companies pay 15k-20k more for fresh phds than MS. Whether that is good enough for the extra years is difficult to say. It depends on people's priorities.
