I just graduate from the master program in Computer Science Department,
North Carolina State University this May. I am looking for a programming-
related VOLUNTEER position because I am in my OPT starting from July 13,
2011 and authorized to work in the US for 29 months before getting
sponsorship but required to main employment after three months. I am living
in Raleigh, NC.
I have systematic and intensive training on programming and algorithm design
for more than 10 years. I am good at Java and C/C++, and know how to use C#
and .NET framework. I developed a Database System WolfFlix DVD rental
service management using Java and Oracle SQL plus. During internship in IBM
China Research Lab, I developed a client/server platform for the
visualization and configuration of the performance of Websphere Application
Servers using Java and Visual Configuration Explorer. I also participated in
many other projects: a light-weight thread library in Linux, P2P protocol,
compiler, cognitive models for robot tool use, financial data mining, driver
vigilance monitoring, web-based interactive virtual electronic laboratory,
etc.
