I passed the google technical interview for the internship. The recruiter
said I have been moved forward to the host matching stage. But he said there
will be only 3 weeks for this process. After 3 weeks, if there is no match,
I will be removed from the list. I have some questions on this:
1.
I've heard that this "3 week time window" policy starts from this year. In
the past, the host match continues until May. Is that true?
2.
There is less than 1 week left, but still no news. Does that mean I have no
chance? Should I write an email to him to ask another chance?
3.
Does anyone successfully get the host match this year? How long have you
been waited?

发帖数: 65 | 2 I am wondering about that too. I think there is a "3-week window" for this
year... My recruiter tried to host match for me for couple weeks, and then
told me that she didn't find one and will not move forward.. I first thought
maybe I didn't do too well during the phone interview. It would be really
helpful if anyone else can confirm or clarify this.

发帖数: 93 | 4 之前是没有这个政策的，今年确实有了这个政策。我host match了一个多月，刚刚收到
了recruiter的拒信。其实是很扯的规定，从这个角度，早面的反而不一定好。你可以
催一催recruiter，看看能不能赶快安排个面试。

recruiter给自己心中的一个timeline。
我去年10月就被通知host-match，结果到1月底也没消息。试图发信给另外一个之前认
识的recruiter B，结果被告知我今年的recruiter A由于太忙没有管我的case。。。。
。像这种情况她肯定不能给我算在“3个星期”之内吧，她(recruiter A)都没有*试图*
给我match。
我猜：如果一个recruiter已经开始把你的case送给各个hosts，然后等了3个星期，没
有任何的host表示interests，那样估计就pass了。但是她啥时候*开始*，就看rp了。。
另外，这个也真取决于recruiter是不是给力，我后来联系的recruiter B超级给力，一
天内把我的信息发给巨多hosts，我超级感动，第2天就有3个hosts表示interests，第3
天还有1个host表示interest。貌似是因为recruiter觉得我之前被耽误了，有点不好意
思，而且她马上就要休产假了，效率其高，顺着mtv和seattle的openning list筛了一
个遍。。。 我想结论是：host-match也取决于recruiter把你的信息发送给了多少
hosts，越多肯定机会越大，好好跟recruiter搞好关系吧！加油！好运！ |
