Consulting companies。You are a consultant under the company, and the
company sends you to their client to work on a project. The client pays your
company on an hourly rate, say $150/hour. The company pays you usually on
an hourly rate, say $100/hour. The company pockets the $50/hour.
Usually they don't sponsor H1B. That's normal.

Do you think it would be a good idea to work for them under OPT and gain
some experience, and then try to get another H1B job?

any time during OPT.
