but your sign-on stock is already very high, so it is possible there is no
cash bonus.
anyway, good offer. i assume this is level 61, the highest you can get for
fresh phd (except MSR)

可能我被cracking coding interview影响的比较多……
那上面一直说一定要negotiate...
我就总想着是不是应该从邪恶的资本家手里至少榨取一点啥东西。。。
但是不知道榨取什么合适……

though), you can always ask for more.
in some cases, hr may have the power to increase your numbers within certain
range, without asking permission from hm/director. but if your package is
already good, hr may have very limited power, and would need to consult hm/
director for making exception. in that case, you risk leaving a bad
impression with your hm if you push the limit, especially if you have no
better offer and are asking more just because you want more (on top of a
decent package).
of course it is your money and it is your decision :)
