Image/Video Algorithms Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop video algorithms for pre/post-processing, video sharpening, de-
interlacing, up/down scaling, and super-resolution.
Develop de-judder algorithm, object segmentation/detection/tracking.
Develop video encoding algorithms such as motion estimation, mode decision
and rate control.
Develop image processing algorithm such as red eye reduction, auto contrast,
and color correction.
Develop camera video processing algorithm such as auto white balance and
noise reduction.
Use C-model simulation and/or FPGA for algorithm development and
verification.
Collaborate with internal software and hardware teams to define the exact
implementation.
Develop verification test bench with reference C-model including algorithm
documentation and specification description.
Perform algorithm enhancements for video quality and performance tuning on
the silicon environment.
REQUIREMENTS
MS (PhD Preferred) with minimum of 3 years related experience.
Working knowledge of MATLAB and C/C++.
Knowledge of video compression standard like MPEG2/4/H264/HEVC is essential.
Proficiency with DSP and filter design is required.
Processing research or working experience on related video processing is
required.
Familiarity with ASIC design and HW/SW algorithms partitioning is highly
desirable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. | h****d
