C++ Application Developer
Location : Urbandale, IA
Duration : 12- 24 months +

Midlevel - Senior level developers
Responsibilities:
-Work in a team environment to design and develop object oriented
application S/W for use in agricultural vehicle displays.
-Follow company software processes to produce high quality software using
the C++ language and the Windows CE operating system.
-Be a member of an agile S/W development team, working closely with other
team members to ensure that the software, electronic and mechanical hardware
function together to meet or exceed the product specifications.
Required Skills
- C++ Development (3-5+ years of experience for Sr. level position)
- developing GUI applications,
- strongly prefer experience with QT
- strongly prefer Agile experience
Experiences that would be a plus
- multithreading programming techniques
- Team player working in an Agile (eXtreme Programming) environment
- Experience with testing frameworks (Googlemock/Googletest/TPTP)
- building a cross compiler tool chain for x32 architecture on x64
architecture

看网上说的QT开发还真容易，而且跨平台。我以前工作的地方（大的research lab)有
人用QT，而且很多很牛的开发软件用了QT的build工具
我自己觉得，作为开源开发工具，QT应该比Eclipse好，还是会有很好的市场前景的。
GOOGLE搞了那么多开源的东东，说不定如果NOKIA彻底放弃QT,GOOGLE就把它买了和
ANDROID/CHROME组合下，前景应该很好
贴一个关于QT的讨论（FROM http://www.tuxradar.com/content/open-ballot-does-qt-have-future）：
There is an established set of companies and projects using QT for cross-
platform development, names like Autodesk, Google, Adobe, Skype, the
European Space Agency, VLC, Samsung, Philips, Panasonic, Oracle... they will
not switch tomorrow, probably ever. Buying Qt out of Nokia would cost them
less than they'd spend trying to switch; Big Rewrites are incredibly risky
and painful and offer very little guarantee of final success... just look at
Maemo/MeeGo, which was originally meant as a Big Rewrite to replace Symbian.
So no, Qt will not die, I bet it won't even be forked. In the worst scenario
, Nokia will simply spin it off and we'll be back to the good old Trolltech
days.
The big loss is really a matter of projections; we were all waiting for Qt
to become at least as mainstream as Objective-C, and instead it will
probably remain the niche it's always been: a slightly obscure C++ toolkit
which is great for cross-platform (mostly Linux) desktop development. |
