本人情况:5+年码工(非牛,烂校出身),485 pending,PD 10/2009, after 180 days,
have EAD, now is H1b, 一个月前被告知要走人,公司给了两个月的宽松期.找工作一个
月了,现有一OFFER, 不知是从了还是拒了继续找.
about this offer,
PROs:
1) big company
2) already has some communication with the immigration attorney of this new
company and Green Card application can be smoothly transferred.
3) job requirments are not high, no pressure for this new job.
CONs:
1) salary is not competitive at all. Only 5% increase compare to what I have
now(and I am underpaid now).
2) too far from home (will need to drive 1.5 - 2 hours more everyday)
3) from the view point of the carrer path, this new job is even a little bit
step down compare to my current job.
This offer will expire this Friday.
找工作一个月,有些interviews,但好机会不多.接近OFFER的机会也就1,2个.

485pending的跳槽顶多也就多一次h1b transfer而已，如果不用ead的话
