教训/总结：
加急是有用的。我是天天fax或者电话骚扰。。。
1应该最开始申请时就把offer letter和expedite request放进去。
2 follow up email把关键词highlight 大写、红或者蓝

Notice date: Oct 11
RFE: Nov 14 (网上状态变了） 然后17 号收到信说是护照复印件颜色太深，看不清楚
facial features，要彩色清晰的护照复印件。
RFE Received by USCIS: Nov 20
Nov 27： 电话Expedite request。 理由：有了offer，拿不到EAD，工作会丢。对方态
度很好。对方帮我填了request，给了我一个a case number (之后followup 用到了
important)
Dec 3： Received an email in response to Expedite request on: my case
is under review by an officer, a decision will be made within 15-30 days.
Dec 3， 4， 5 每天都fax 一个Expedite （offer letter, support letter from
employee and expedite request: financial loss)
Dec 5： 电话Expedite: 等了50 minutes 被 transfer to a higher
level manager. 被Denied：因为我已经request了。不过他叫我发email
给 N**************[email protected]
with the Expedite case number as the email subject.
我就赶紧发了followupemail，随手把老板的support letter 扫描并且附在email上了。
20 分钟后，网上状态变成 decision
网上大概745的时候 网上状态变成了 card production

下面是follow up的模板，在mit前辈基础上做了些修改
Follow-up email template I used:
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing in regard to the expedite request for my EAD application. I
requested the expedite service on *** of 2012. However, I received an email
telling me that I will need to wait for another 30 days for a decision.
I have been offered a great job position at The O*****y and the starting
date is *** of 2012-less than 10 business days. As a foreign student, one of
the requirements for receiving this offer is that I should have employment
authorization approved. As I need my salary to pay for my living expenses by
myself, the delayed approval will lead to severe financial loss. More
importantly, if I do not start on time, I may lose this great job
opportunity!
Secondly, it has been more than 55 days since USCIS filed my cased on 10/9/
2012. Based on the first-come-first serve principle, my case is expected to
be approved along with the cases of the same application date. Given that
other cases filed the later have been approved (Listed below) and my case is
still pending, I believe my situation satisfies the criteria for expedite
processing.
Case 1: LIN13***** Receive date: **, 2012. Card Delivery: **, 2012
Case 2: LIN13***** Receive date: **, 2012 Card Delivery: **, 2012
I also included a support letter from my future employer to support my
expedite request!
Based on the two reasons, please grant me expedite processing. Thank you so

发帖数: 488 | 3 顶一个，顺便补充一点自己的想法：从我的亲身经历来看，无论啥时候加急都是靠人品
的，不幸的是我没这么好运能expedite，但是幸运的是我那沓application很早就被
process了。
USCIS喜欢拿一沓申请去处理，所以一旦处理出来通过的都是联号的。而且我发现I821
附近的I765容易被早处理，可能因为办I821的时候顺手给办了。而且我觉得I821可能更
容易办些，所以他们倾向于处理I821。
