is not your fault at all.
Call them first.

The ISSO of the school asked me to send the approval notice to them, and
they will contact USCIS to correct it. I already signed a job contact using
the EAD card, starting from the middle of March. I am wondering, in this
situation, how long will USCIS take to issue a new card and will the
starting date be changed? Shall I contact my employer to correct my
information? I really hope it won't affect my new job.
