Job Title: Engineer, Firmware
Qualifications:
- MS degree in EE/CS with 0 - 10 years of Firmware/Embedded development
experience in data storage devices.
- Strong C programming skill.
- Knowledge of ARM architecture, and development/debug environment.
- Understanding of RTOS concepts and issues.
- Knowledge of DMA, interrupt, I2C, SPI, Serial communication, etc.
- Prior knowledge of storage related protocols like ATA, SCSI, SATA, SAS,
eMMC, etc.
- Familiar with logic analyzer, protocol analyzer, ICE, oscilloscope and
similar tools that are commonly used to debug embedded software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills applied in a team
environment.
- Knowledge and expxrience of both Single and Multi layer cell NAND memories
will be a plus.
Description:
- Design and implement embedded software for Marvell’s advanced flash
memory controller.
- Participate in ground-breaking advanced SSD storage development project,
design and development firmware for cutting-edge enterprise and SSD products.
- Debug, optimize, and validate SSD firmware on embedded architectures;
Develop firmware to evaluate SoC and bring up board.
- Debug and troubleshooting embedded system related issues.
- Interact with key groups on NAND controller design issues and usage
requirements.
- Support customer qualification and adopting of SSD products, resolve
issues, and provide workarounds.
- Develop software tools to assist debug.
