Clean Energy Associates (CEA) is a solar advisory firm based in Shanghai. We
come to InterSolar San Francisco trade show to promote our patented solar
product quality control service. After the show on 9th-11th July, Project
Manager Andrew Gao will take a 20-day business trip mainly in the west coast
to visit the important clients met in the solar show. CEA needs to hire an
intern to report to Andrew, help to drive for the follow-up trip, and assist
him in the business activities.
Number of interns desired: One (1)
Requirement
1) Male
2) Chinese student in San Francisco area (If you are very interested in this
internship position, and are able to drive to downtown San Francisco for
interview, you are also considered.)
3) Experienced driving skills with an automobile capable of moderate
distance of travel
4) Demonstrated track record of effective written and verbal communication
skills in English
5) Flexible, independent and able to work under pressure and uncertainties
6) Can do attitude and hands on approach
Compensation
1) Direct involvement into critical business negotiation in solar industry
2) Good learning experience for knowledge in solar technology and business
3) Getting known by major solar companies in the west coast, to open the
door for future employment
4) Full reimbursement for gasoline, food and living during the 20-day trip
5) One thousand (1,000) USD as down payment on the first day of employment
6) Five thousand (5,000) USD as commission delivered within three (3) months
Next Steps

3) Andrew Gao will invite a few selected candidates to have face-to-face
interview in downtown San Francisco during 3rd -8th July.
4) The trip will be within 12th-31st July, and the assistance of solar show

Profile for Andy Klump, CEO
Andy has over ten years of experience spanning the High-Technology and
Renewable Energy sectors with eight years of experience working in both
first and third tier cities in China. Andy is Founder and Managing Director
of Clean Energy Associates. Prior to this role, Andy was the Vice President
of Business Development for Trina Solar Limited (NYSE: TSL), a vertically
integrated Chinese solar PV manufacturer which he helped to obtain over $
500M of financing through its IPO and post-public offerings in 2006 and 2007
-2008, respectively. Andy has also worked in management roles in sales and
business development for Dell Computer and Intel. He has a B.A. in Economics
from Northwestern University and a Masters of Business Administration from
Harvard Business School. He speaks Mandarin fluently and lives with his wife
and two daughters in Shanghai, China.
Profile for Andrew Gao, Project Manager
Mr. Gao has over 6 years of experience working in the solar and photonics
industries. Previously, Mr. Gao served as a Representative in China for the
California International Solar Electricity Technology organization, where he
was responsible for transferring patent-protected CIGS TFPV technology to
China for mass production. In addition, Mr. Gao has held both sales and
technical positions for various Chinese manufacturers including Finisar, the
leading supplier of optical communication components and subsystems. During
the last three years Mr. Gao has translated four solar technical books for
Shanghai Jiao Tong University Press: Flexible Solar Cells, The Physics of
Solar Cells, Thin Film Solar Cells and Crystal Growth of Silicon for Solar
Cells. Mr. Gao has a B.S. in Applied Physics from Shanghai Jiao Tong
University and M.S. in Physics from University of Central Florida. | j******y
