In a very positive development, the EB2 category cutoff date for Indian
nationals will advance significantly on August 1st. This means that
approved 2nd preference applicants who are Indian nationals with a priority
date earlier than that date will be eligible to file an application for
permanent residence via adjustment of status or consular processing during
