I'm reaching out to see if you know anyone who may be interested in a full-
time Linux Systems Engineer position with a consumer-facing internet company
in Manhattan. They're looking for someone to leverage configuration
management tools, monitoring and automation scripting.
The company is seeking someone with a background as a Linux Admin/Engineer,
experience supporting web-based applications and large scale / high-traffic
websites. They need an individual with proficiency in RedHat Linux,
experience managing Apache and Tomcat servers, and a solid understanding of
monitoring methodologies. The compensation for this role is in the 85K/yr+
range.
