Job Description
• Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data
structures, and algorithms. Experience in Java, Python or C++ is a
must.
• Experience in data mining and machine learning techniques like
feature extraction, decision tree, additive models, EM algorithm, SVM, etc
is a must.
• Experience in applied statistics including hypothesis testing,
analysis of variance, model evaluation, forcasting, etc. is a strong
plus.
• Hands-on with R or Hadoop/Pig/Hive is a strong plus.
• Superior communications skills, both verbal and written in English
and Chinese
• Ability to work independently and in a team to research innovative
solutions to challenging business problems
• Attention to detail and data accuracy.
Basic Qualifications
• MS degree or PhD (preferred) in Computer Science, Statistics,
Mathematics, or equivalent is required for this position.
• 5+ years’ experience in data mining/machine learning/
artificial intelligence research.

• Support data scientist within the team to leverage data mining,

• Designs and develops solutions for specific use cases that provide
frameworks, interfaces, and services that can be extended and reused for
future requirements.
• Implement proof-of-concept prototypes for data collection, analysis,
and presentation.
• Implement new data product initiatives, assist product manager with
definition of product direction and validation.
• Code, troubleshoot, and debug complex, multi-tier distributed
analytics applications on eBay platform.

吧，并且之前刚收购了香港的一个什么网，而且我也知道上海公司之前在组队做
analytics platform，总体来说还是觉得挺有前景的
