发帖数: 189 | 1 我是F1. 上个月刚离开原来的学校. 我现在挂在一个社区大学.但明年春季入学.
据说因为离校时间和入学时间之间不超过5个月, 就可以继续呆在美国.
年底或者明年1月,有几个可能性会让我不去该社区大学上学.
我申请到另外一所学校也是明年春季入学, 去那所学校,而不去社区大学;
我找到noncap H1b工作, 去工作, 而不去社区大学;
我年底回国发展, 而不去社区大学.
我的问题是:
如果因为以上一个原因不去该社区大学上学,从现在到春季入学这段间隔的在美逗留会
不会被视为非法?

if you enroll next Jan 15 and quit Jan 20, your last day as F1 will be 1-20

My previous graduate school released my record and transferred my SEVIS to
the community school on Sept 13. The community school has sent a new I-20 to
me.
In Jan of next year, if I don't enrol in the community school but
- enrol into a better school (I am now applying to), or
- go to work with an employer with noncap H1B, or
- go back to China,
will my stay in the U.S. between Sept 13 and Jan of next year become illegal?
