Job Requirement
>5 years of experience in embedded SW design, development and debug/
integration for real-time networking or communication systems. Thorough
knowledge of networking protocols especially in Layer 2/Layer 3: Media
Access Control layer and Logical Link Control layer. Be able to translate
communication standard protocols i.e. 802.15.4, 802.15.4e, Power Line
Communication protocols (PRIME, G3) into efficient implementations in MCU.
Familiar with SW development environment and tools such as TI Code Composer
Studio IDE, gnu, IAR, and others. Comfortable in design and development SW
components under Real-Time Operation Systems such as TI DSP-BIOS, ThreadX,
Nucleus, etc. Deep understanding of MCU/DSP architecture and familiar with
HW device drivers (UART, USB, I2C, AFE, etc) and be able to debug and
troubleshoot in lab environment with HW/SW integrated testing. Specific
experience of TI C2000/C6000 is a plus. Be able perform CPU MIPs/code size/
RAM usage tradeoff analysis and benchmark against competitor’s solution.
Interact with network engineers to define and perform system level
integrated test cases and troubleshoot at network levels. Specifics of the
requirements are:
· >5 years experience in protocol stack software design and
development in embedded communication system.
· Proficient in SW architecture and design for MAC/networking
system.
· Knowledge of IEEE 802.15.4, PLC standards (G3/Prime) protocol
stack is preferred.
· Thorough understanding of MCU/DSP architecture, experience in
c2000 DSP is preferred but not the must.
· Extensive knowledge and experience on embedded SW implementation,
RTOS, system integration and verification, trouble shoot networking
scenarios
· Knowledge of embedded SW development framework, SW testing
process flow from design to implementation and testing
· Familiar with SW tools such as: TI Code Composer Studio IDE, GNU
tools, Eclipse IDE tools, clearcase/clearquest tool, etc

But need to graduate in 2014. H1 is supported. Actually TI has a very good
green card policy.
