Do you want to work on a mission critical Amazon service that uses cutting-
edge machine learning technologies and is vital to Amazon’s Retail, Kindle,
AWS and Marketplace businesses? Do you like big data and using information
retrieval to predicate transaction risk? The Transaction Risk Management
Services (TRMS) team is responsible for making Amazon the safest and most
trusted place to transact online. We are launching a new service and looking
for skilled software engineers to be “founding” members of this new
service. Come help us define the architecture and deliver the first version
of this new service. This is a tremendous opportunity to innovate, make a
big impact on online transaction safety and take your skills to the next
level.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelors in Computer Science or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years software development experience in Java, C++ or C#.
* Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, algorithm design,
problem solving, and complexity analysis
* Experience building distributed systems and web services.
* Demonstrated ability to own and deliver projects of increasing technical
complexity.
Preferred Qualifications
* Passion for building highly scalable systems in a fast paced, team-
oriented environment.
