Note:
This is a contract position

The requirements below are MUST:
- BS, MS or higher in Engineering or Computer Science. Computer Science
strongly preferred.
- 5+ years experience
- Strong ruby, python or perl experience (note Web work does NOT count)
- Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Development
- Strong knowledge of unit testing preferred
Strongly preferred:
- Automated Verification or Validation experience in an FDA or FAA
environment strongly preferred
Day to day, the job is:
- understand Requirements for the device
- write automated Test Cases in Ruby for our in-house Testing Framework
against those Requirements
- modify existing Test Cases
- run Test Cases against an emulator or against a real device
- determine why Test Cases are failing and write a Software Change Request
as necessary
- make updates and enhancements to the Testing Framework (currently around
15KLOC)
- write unit tests against the Testing Framework using test/unit
- participate in code reviews of Test Cases, Unit Tests, and the Testing
Framework
- create or update existing tools and scripts which parse java or ruby code,
generate PDF reports, generate web-based reports, etc. |
