收到一个start-up的offer，没有通过邮件形式给我发待遇信息，约了个时间电话说。
之前没有任何经验，请教版上各位大牛如何跟他们商量待遇问题？目前还在等一个比较
大的公司的offer。
1. 会有哪些可能问我的问题？
2. 问我期望的待遇就打马虎眼说negotiable？问我其他公司的offer就说还在等？
3. 一般需要提前做好什么准备？
4. 一般都是打电话商量package的么？
看到版上基本都是高大上的码农，希望有人帮忙解惑，谢谢。 |

方下official letter给你签字

发帖数: 37 | 6 谢谢提供经验。不过想用这个offer催另一家大公司的，所以如果表现地特别想去，那
之后如果拿到另一家offer再拒了这家是不是不好啊。因为是fresh phd，没卡，这家
startup估计办卡比不上大公司吧？看板上大家经常会把卡放在选offer的首要位置上，
所以目前还是倾向于等另一个。

没签都不算毁约。

但是总担心这次的讨论会影响之后negotiate的空间，所以度不是很好拿捏。

no， you need to negotiate first. the normal process is they will give you a
verbal offer with numbers, you then negotiate with the numbers, both sides
comprise and reach a deal, and then they will send you a formal written
offer.
normally you have a few days to sign the offer, I guess you can ask them how
lnog you can wait here. for me, I always sign the letter immediately as I
never tried to interview with bunch of companies at the same time.
of course, even after you sign the offer letter, you can still reject, they
can still cancel, no obligations, but this does not happen often.

你的意思是电话中negotiate之后就确定了么，等正式offer letter来了就没机会商量
了？我怎么感觉身边例子都是等正式offer下来才根据这个negotiate的。
另外，startup公司一般会有股票，虽然基本就是一个大饼，但一般作为普通员工会争
取拿到多少？谢谢

the first one, otherwise they won't take your negotiation seriously, unless
you have really strong background, or they want you really bad.

所以我想拿这个offer去催大公司，不知道靠谱不靠谱？

Grab the first one doesnot mean take it without negotiation.
Yeah, it is hard to ask more always. But you have to ask no matter what.
Unless you say I gave get xxx otherwise cannot go, talk is always open on
both ends.

怀疑你换过工作没？找人也不容易阿。negotiations is a respect to both sides.

Move on了，对于fresh还是很伤的，毕竟公司不缺人，各种备胎，找工作可就艰辛了啊

还是第一次听说这种事，不过我觉得真要是这种极品公司，不去反而是好事。

发帖数: 417 | 18 事后想想确实是这样，但是这年头非CS找工作实在不容易啊，不管多极品，有总比没有
强。所以我的建议还是想拿到纸上的，之后再想其他的。当然签了毁约这种事儿，就算
找不到工作我也是绝对反对的，太伤人品。

发帖数: 417 | 20 对啊，因为严重low ball,试探性的说是不是有点少，拿实验室的人举了个例子，然后
就不理人了，过几天直接告诉找别人了，还更便宜。。。这HR之前还拍胸脯 offer
goes no where。。。。。。。
我擦，真有negotiate的时候黄了offer啊，在没其他offer的情况下都不敢怎么商量了
