Sr. Staff, Staff Engineer – RFIC Design
Position Description
Join Samsung R&D organization based in Richardson, Texas, to champion
development of RFIC and sub-systems for next generation of mobile broadband
technology.
Responsibilities
• Interpret system level specs to circuit requirements for
transceiver blocks
• Design, simulate and characterize Radio Frequency Integrated
Circuits (RFICs)
• Conduct detailed circuit design at RF and above frequencies: up/
down-converters, PA, LNA, Phase Shifter, Switch, Synthesizer ...
• Validate performance of circuits using standard RF test equipment
such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, VSA …
Qualifications
• MSEE with 3+ or PhD with 1+ years of experience
• In-depth understanding of circuit fundamentals and design at high
frequencies
• Expertise in RF/Analog IC design in CMOS, SiGe BiCMOS or GaAs
technologies
• Hands on experience using RF test equipment (signal generators,
spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, VSA)
• Proficient using Cadence tool
• Familiar with ADS and Momentum or HFSS
• Excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills
