We are looking for a highly motivated senior software engineer to join our
innovative startup (Elastica/Blue Coat Systems). You would be part of a
multi-disciplinary team chartered to build scalable distributed solutions to
solve the most challenging security problems.
Responsibilities:
● Work alongside Elastica’s Data Science team to implement real time
algorithms to detect new threat vectors.
● Contribute to scale the solution for handling large amount of streaming
data in a massively parallel deployment.
● Work with the devops team to productize and operate your solution in
public and private clouds.
Qualifications:
● BS required, MS preferred in Computer Science or related discipline
● 3+ years of experience as a software engineer; demonstrated success
developing a variety of software systems in linux environment while taking
on increasing responsibility for analysis, design, implementation and
deployment tasks
● Professional coding experience required in Python.
● Hands on experience with Big Data programming technologies, such as
Hadoop, NoSQL technologies or similar is a plus.
