The research group led by Dr. Xiaoyun Ding in the Department of Mechanical
Engineering at University of Colorado Boulder has 3 fully funded positions
for Postdoc and PhD candidates starting in 2017 spring/fall to explore the
broad area of Biomedical devices, BioMEMS, Drug Delivery and Biotechnology.
We conduct highly multidisciplinary research at the frontiers of science,
engineering, and biomedicine, specifically such as Micro/Nano technology,
Mechanics, Electronics, Acoustics, Optics, microfluidics, MEMS etc. We aim
to develop innovative technologies to solve challenging problems in medicine
and improve human health. We take it as responsibility to train future
leaders dedicated to excellence.
We are recruiting exceptional Ph.D. and postdoc candidates with:
1. Passion and commitment to excellence;
2. Excellent training in research (strong publication record and research
experience are highly preferred);
3. Good personality;
4. Ability to collaborate.
Since our research is highly interdisciplinary, Candidates with background
in Engineering, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry are all welcome to apply.
