In this role, you will be part of IT/Digital operation team and have the
opportunity to work with various engineering teams to develop and support
both on-perm and on global-cloud platform.
Responsibilities:
Ø Responsible for on perm Data Center infrastructure planning and
setup
Ø Responsible for the day-to-day support, and ongoing maintenance and
ensuring the environment is scalable to meet growth, including ongoing
improvements to the design and architecture of the cloud services
Ø On-perm and cloud, self-service provisioning, configuration
management, and DevOps monitoring.
Ø Evaluate and provide recommendations on best of breed technologies
to improve efficiencies and provide self service capabilities.
Ø Work with the Engineering teams to implement automation processes
for developing and deploying their applications across the global cloud
infrastructure and global business units
Ø Collaborate with other team members across geographic boundaries to
facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice adoption globally.
Ø Strong team player with the ability to manage multiple projects and
prioritize accordingly.
Qualifications:
Ø 6-8 years in the field of supporting IT infrastructure and cloud
services and/or a software engineering background
Ø VM/EC2 instances, storage including SAN & NAS, databases, load
balancers, DNS, IAM policies, SSH/key management
Ø Experience in implementing and supporting an Engineering DevOps
environment using infrastructure revision control systems such as GIT, SVN
Ø AWS, Citrix, Azure, VMware, VDI/DaaS, Office 365 on cloud, MS SQL
server database administrator experiences are plus
Ø Ability to automate complex or repetitive tasks and manage
infrastructure as code using scripting (Perl/Python/Unix shells – at least
one Proficient in Linux system administration and comfortable with CLI tools
Ø Familiar with multiple integration technologies such as SOA, Web
services (REST APIs, SOAP) and etc.
Ø Self-motivated, posse excellent customer service skills, and be
familiar with supporting large scale Engineering IT infrastructure
environments. Some 24x7 on-call rotation and after-hours support may be
required for this position.
