Software Engineer, Sr I - Synopsys
location: Boston MA
Responsibilities
Your work will include:
• Design, build and maintain our next generation of security and
eLearning products.
• Manage performance and flexibility in distributed architectures.
• Being a strong communicator with ability to coordinate and follow-up
aggressively.
• Conducting technical evaluations of new frameworks and plugins.
• Conducting code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers.
Qualifications
You will have:
• 2-4 years experience working across a range of web technologies with
exposure single page applications (React, Angular)
• 2-4 years experience with RESTful backend APIs servicing the
frontend with JSON payloads.
• 1-2 years of development experience in Unix.
• Experience in an agile development team using agile tools. (JIRA,
Confluence)
• Knowledge of relational database design and interaction. (Postgres,
MySQL)
• Knowledge of continuous deployment / integration best practices. (
Jenkins, TeamCity, Go Cd)
• Knowledge of distributed data storage technologies such as,
Cassandra, Redis, Kafka, etc.
• Exposure to queueing technologies (RabbitMq, Reddis)
Education and Certifications:
• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field. |
