Work Location: Bellevue, WA 98006 (Hybrid)
Job Description:
Design reporting solutions including dashboard PowerBI Development; Analyze
and interpret data
Build and maintain data pipelines & ETLs as appropriate
Perform ad-hoc analysis using SQL, and ETL skills along with report building
as the business dictates.
Use problem solving skills to analyze large and complex business problems by
preparing and building greater insights through the collection and analysis
of data trends
Leverage tools, such as SQL, Tableau, and other data related tools to drive
analytics and front-end report development
Define, build, and track key performance metrics to measure success and
iterate on opportunities for optimization
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience working in a business intelligence, data management,
data engineer, analytics, or related role
BA/BS in a field that emphasizes analyzing, displaying, or reporting on data
(e.g., computer science, math, engineering, economics, statistics,
psychology), or equivalent work experience
Experience with data analytics, data modeling, data management, and data
reporting and visualization (Tableau, PowerBI or similar tools)
Proven track record of leveraging data and analytics to drive business value
Advanced Excel skills (Pivots, dimensional modeling, linking to external
data sources)
Combination of deep technical skills and business savvy to interface with
all levels and disciplines within our organization
Flexible and proactive approach to work, being experienced to juggle
multiple priorities under pressure
Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and across
organizational boundaries
Experience working independently and as a contributor to a cross-functional
team
Experience working in a global team or in 24x7 service operations.
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills. Ability to convince other
strong personalities of their ideas and work with partners in problem
solving.
Attention to detail with self-discipline and a drive for results.
Extensive problem-solving skills, self-confidence, and strong leadership
qualities
Intake Information:
This is an immediate and highly visible need. Manager will begin interviews
immediately upon candidate submission.
Power BI and SQL or Python skills are must have.
What does a typical day look like? (daily tasks) Creating reports, designing
long term reporting solutions.
Preferred background/prior work experience? Experience working with big data
across disparate systems
Priority soft skills Good communication skills collaboration skills
Resources will support Technology Procurement.
Candidates must be local to Seattle for hybrid model (partially onsite/
offsite.) Vaccination is a requirement.
Possibility of extension to 18 months.
