Not sure why and from when, I don't talk to my boss a lot everyday. Seems
only a few words if there is no issue.
He doesn't ask me about my stuff and I don't ask him either. Well partially
because, what I'm doing is not really his area. He used to said that myself
should take care of them.

2. It is your responsibility to update him your challenges or difficulties
in case you cannot meet project deadline, far before the deadline is due.
3. You shall always let him know if you make any exceptional progress - it
is your job to inform him, whether he is an expert in your field or not.
4. It is your opportunity to practice your communication skills to convey

Great idea!
I do feel you need to motivate your boss or other people. The problem might
be I, myself is not motivated...so it may influence others' feeling somehow.
