ACTS is a consulting and translation firm specializing in providing
certified English translation for Chinese and east European languages. Other
than translating the commonly-seen documents like diploma, transcript,
birth certificates, etc, we also recruit foreign students for American
universities. We need an intern for this summer helping with some
secretarial work and visiting corporate clients. Low hourly rate, but great
commission for quai-sales work, free room and vehicle will be provided.
The intern may also need to help with some volunteer work for a humane
society in China (with the same hourly pay). The time is very flexible, she
may work as little as two hours each business day. The internship will end
around Mid July, but you may choose to stay later if desired. We can pay
cash.
The work is not hard, but there is a chance for the commission to be stunning.
The ideal applicant must have excellent oral and written English skills,
plus good negotiation power.
The internship involves both clerical and professional work and will be a
great experience for students with an entrepreneurship or simply want to
polish their resumes. When dealing with corporate clients, you are required
to drive to visit them, but nothing like making a cold call. You simply
collected the necessary information these particular clients ALWAYS love to
give out, and offer some collaboration which will benefit them more than
benefit us.
