hereinafter referred to as “SARI”), is jointly initiated by Chinese
Academy of Sciences and Shanghai Municipality. As a comprehensive
application-oriented institute, SARI is mainly engaged in S&T innovation,
technology commercialization and talent cultivation in the fields of IT,
energy and environment, advanced materials, and life science, etc.
As a sub-division of Energy and Environment Research Department at SARI, Low
Carbon Energy Conversion Technology Center focuses on the low carbon
conversion and utilization of carbon-containing resources, e.g. coal and
biomass, while aiming to provide technical support and low carbon solution
for the development of alternative energy and chemical industry.
We seek scientists who combine exceptional bio-chemical engineering or
enzyme engineering knowledge, especially enzyme modification skills and
methodological insights with a deep understanding of catalytic conversion of
CO2 to carry out outstanding independent research programs as well as to
collaborate with colleagues in Low Carbon Energy Conversion Technology
Center. The eligible candidates should hold a master’s or doctor’s degree,
or the equivalent, with relevant research training and a demonstrated
record of excellence in research of bio-assisted catalytic conversion of CO2
or other carbonaceous gases.
