Job Title: Associate Director or Director of Market Research Statistician

Location: Shanghai, China
Job Summary:
Responsible for providing statistical expertise on management of statistical
projects or development of new initiatives as well as building the
statistical information systems
Provide theoretical and statistical inputs for the development
of new projects / services including helping design and work on pilot
projects as well as other products / services development initiatives
Demonstrate a keen understanding of the client’s strategic
direction, and needs for insights, to support it when planning for and
conducting statistical analysis
Provide statistical-related practice development advice in
delivering integrated market research solutions to clients in order to offer
a more holistic picture of consumer behavior and trends
Consistently partner with internal and external clients to
deliver highest-quality statistical models and analysis
Help clients to understand company’s statistical capabilities
in solving their business challenges
Drive statistical innovation through creative solutions that
result in entirely new ways of providing profitable, value-added products
and services to clients
Typical Position Pre-requisites:
University degree in Statistics or Operations Research (MBA
desirable)
5 years related experience desired
Expert knowledge of research techniques and methodologies
Project management experience
Effective communications skills
