edge research focusing on developing next generation energy storage products
. We are seeking a highly qualified research scientist in energy storage
field for an NSF sponsored Postdoctoral research fellow appointment with a
salary of $75,000. The candidate will be responsible for the synthesis and
characterization of a novel electrode materials for our next generation
supercapacitors. The candidate will design, evaluate, and document prototype
and production-ready electronic systems, as well as write progress reports.
Experience in energy storage field, especially in supercapacitors and
batteries, is preferred. Hands-on experience in carbon nanomaterial
synthesis, processing and characterization is required. Experience in report
/proposal writing is a plus.
The following requirements are also needed:
1)Possess at the time of fellowship a Ph.D., Sc.D. or other earned doctoral
degree recognized in U.S. academic circles, in a NSF-supported STEM-related
discipline, earned within three years of their date of application, and
2) Be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national or U.S. legal permanent resident at the
time of application, and
3) Not have received a prior postdoctoral fellowship in a corporate
laboratory for a term of more than six months.
