Your Responsibilities:
• To carry out research on principles and mechanisms of water treatment technologies for new applications.
• To develop new water solutions from choosing the appropriate principles, selecting component/material and processing up to integrating the complete sensing, control and computational models into the target applications.
• To conduct feasibility studies on new water solutions based on
realistic constraints of consumer product integration (i.e. meet the price/performance/quality requirements for a mass-produced consumer product).
• Act as a thought leader in the domain of water technologies for domestic application.
• To maintain a technology roadmap that leverages the local eco-system to speed up innovation to market
• To lead a portfolio of innovation directions and deliver on project commitments.
Your Profile:
• Excellent research experience in the field of water treatment based on water physics and chemistry with demonstrated record (e.g.publications on renowned international journals). Exposure to water treatment technologies, which could include, but not limited to, chemicals,disinfection, water property management for food and beverage processing, etc.
• PhD degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
• Familiar with the related regulations, standards, and expert networks. Insightful knowledge for market trends, applications and key technologies.
• Hands on experimental research, especially in developing commercial solution concepts. Experience in domestic appliances (e.g. new concept
development and prototyping) is a strong plus.
• Proven track record to lead cross-sites project team(s) and deliver expected results.
• Experience in formulating new research initiatives/proposals and putting together required resource and capability to support the initiatives.
• Passionate, entrepreneurial, a team player, and result driven.
• Effective communication. Excellent language skills, especially in English.
