engineer to effectively manage/test/support our outsourced software projects
in China. This position needs good communication skills in both english and
chinese, and strong programming skills.
Job Summary:
Apply sufficient skills and experience to complete modestly complex
technical
manufacturing tasks using established methods with limited supervision. Will
be self sufficient in the completion of manufacturing engineering technical
tasks. For more
complex tasks, a technical supervisor reviews the work for completeness of
scope,
soundness of technical judgment in resolving issues that arise and
comprehensiveness of verification / validation activities. Initiate
interaction with peers,
mentors and supervisors to solicit direction necessary to complete well-
defined
assignments.
Core Job Responsibilities:
1. Design and test software for medical products in C, C++, and C#.
2. Document designs and test results.
3. Trouble-shoot the issues with medical device, isolate the issues in
hardware or software, and find the root causes and solutions.
4. Maintain and proactively improve manufacturing equipment and
process capability.
5. Investigate customer product complaints and internal process /
procedure issues by using system level knowledge of the
interactions between the product’s electronics, software and
mechanics.
6. Specify and perform validation and verification plans for changes to
released processes, subsystems and components.
7. Follow Corporate and Departmental SOPs especially related to
design and change control requirements of the Quality System
8. Follow all EHS rules and procedures for your department. Report any EHS
incidents and/or Near Misses (unsafe acts and conditions)
promptly to supervision. Attend all required training and medical
surveillance programs. Wear all PPE as required. Forward any
opportunities to improve the EHS program to supervision.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor of Electrical, Software, Computer or Biomedical
Engineering. Current student with good C/C++/C# programming skills will be
considered.
Experience: This is an entry-level position - less than two years of
industry
experience is expected; experience with Windows programming techniques and
concepts; strong C/C++ programming skills; experience in programming with at
least one application framework; excellent documentation and effective
communication skills; familiarity with object oriented design and
programming techniques; hardware circuit design experience in both analog
and digital is desired.
