Senior Software Engineer(Java)
Position Objectives:
• Develop cloud automation software to scale in provisioning volume,
performance and global deployment.
• Develop highly scalable Cloud Middleware and Automation platform
that interfaces with different subsystems.
• Work with various internal and external teams on defining a set of
standard APIs for each application subsystem.
• Translate functional requirements into technical and API
specifications.
• Work with cross functional teams and lead design discussions on
future functions.
• Mentor and motivate team members to ensure high productivity,
collaboration and team work.
Required skills:
• 5+ years of Software design and development experience for complex
enterprise systems.
• Strong Java programming skills with at least 2 years of recent hands
-on experience.
• Strong Experience in J2EE frameworks including Spring, Hibernate,
DAO, EJB, JMS.
• Experience in data modeling, SQL development and performance tuning
using MySQL.
• Experience in developing highly available (HA) and secured SOAP and
RESTFul based web services using Spring Web Services and Apache Axis.
• Understanding of VMWare Virtualization technologies is a plus.
• Must be a team player, flexible, self-motivated and analytical with
excellent communications skills, both oral and written.
Java Developer(API, Cloud)
Primarily focus on:
• Partner and customer technical integration support
• Partner solution development technical support, support or implement
partner and customer POCs
• Respond to API technical questions on the API Portal forums,
• Develop demos, samples for APIs
• Develop, contribute, and support open source cloud SDKs (jClouds,
Delta Cloud, Desin etc.)
• Layer 7 development and support in addition to IT taking ownership
• Layer 7 Portal technical configuration such as security
• Functional testing and troubleshooting of APIs
Skills set – an application developers who can handle OS level install
config, and network connectivity/troubleshooting etC:
• Typical Java developer who has web services/API implementation
experience: Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services, JDBC, MySQL , HTTP
• Web app client development – HTML, JavaScript
• Experience in LAMP as a developer and also able to install and
troubleshoot
• Experience in Apache Tomcat, open web services stack
• Understands and has some experiences in web/network security – SSL,
2-way SSL, certificates, OAuth
• Testing tools like SOAPUI, JRUN, Jmeter, Shell scripting
• Basic Linux administration and troubleshooting

◦ Network troubleshooting – ability to test connectivity,
