We have an urgent requirement for a Electromechanical Engineer. This is a
Contract position based in Salem,, VA. If you are interested in this

Description :
o B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree.
o Minimum 5 years experience in Electro-mechanical systems design.
o Proficient with Pro-E & AutoCAD.
o Understand electro-mechanical system elementarys, one-line diagrams,
Bill of Materials, Layout and Layout diagrams, wire labeling, &
construction diagrams.
Roles and responsibilities:
The Hardware structuring engineer is responsible for the creation and
validation of Electro-mechanical packaging for a variety of CoE product
families including, but not limited to, Mark*VIe Turbine control, EX2100
Excitation and LS2100 Static Starter.
· Collect, review and/or generate documentation for packaging
requirements form various, global Client business units in the US, France,
Italy and India.
· Work in a cross-functional environment (Engineering, Manufacturing,
Sourcing, Customers) to identify the best solutions for these businesses.
· Work in a cross-functional environment (Engineering, Manufacturing,
Sourcing, Customers) to improve manufacturability, reduce cost and improve
cycle.
· Document design activities by maintaining design record books and
design practices.
· Lead system and mechanical design efforts supported by off-site
global resources.
· Partner with Automation team to incorporate new designs into
Automation tools.
· Own and manage multiple projects.
