Job Position Summary Description: RFEC team is seeking an experience
UMTS or LTE engineer to join the RF optimization and engineering team.
Candidate must have extensive RF wireless communication background with
knowledge of call processing algorithms and related features in UMTS and LTE
air interface technologies. Candidate must have strong theoretical
knowledge and working experience with ALU UMTS and LTE platforms, as well as
in-depth knowledge of RF and performance related parameters and their
impact on network performance.A critical component of the position is the
ability of the candidate to optimize clusters of cell sites using drive test
data collected using QXDM, NEMO, JDSU and TEMS data collection platforms.
Candidate is expected to be able to use data collection kits, manage drive
teams and be able to use ACTIX, eDAT or similar data processing tools to
analyze RF data and layer 3 messages. Furthermore, candidate needs to have
the ability to tune antenna configurations or recommend changes to network
parameters (including neighbor list) to meet KPI targets. In addition,
knowledge of TCP/IP and the ability to analyze application layer data
collected via Wireshark/TCPdump is a plus. He/She must have excellent
technical leadership, communication and people skills. |
