基本要求：
• MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics,
BME or related areas.
• Extensive experience with a variety of material characterization
and processing techniques; emphasis on metals for one of the following areas
• Demonstrated expertise in instrument operation and data analysis
using a variety of advanced analytical instruments.
• Speak and write Mandarin and English fluently.
• Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, written and
verbal communication skills.
• Able to travel up to 25% of the time, domestically and
internationally.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence others.
• Able to work effectively in heavily matrixed environment.
• Able to work in direct, cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
• Able to develop objectives, work plans and measurements that are
aligned with department strategies.
• Strong work ethic and initiative in accomplishing objectives.
• Demonstrated experience in meeting time to market needs with a
high quality product.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business
periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government
regulations.
• Strong organization and time management skills; ability to manage
multiple priorities.
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• PhD in Materials Science or Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in biomedical research and/or development
of medical products
• Experience with biological evaluation of biomaterials and medical
devices.
• Good understanding of metallurgy, corrosion and surface science,
electrochemistry, mechanics and fatigue/failure analysis of materials.
• Familiarity with surface analysis and analytical chemistry
techniques and their use in problem solving.
• Experience with materials selection and structure-property
relationship utilization for medical device application.
• Proven independent technical problem solving skills.
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Have potential and demonstrated skills in broad,
interdisciplinary areas (polymers, biomaterials, biologicals, interfaces,
engineering design).
• Proven continuous learning and leadership potential.
