Huazhong University of Science and Technology
The Bird Nest Program aiming at recruiting and nurturing young future
leaders in emerging interdisciplinary science and technology has recently
been launched at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), which
is a major research university in China, located in Wuhan with a national
high-tech zone of 518 square kilometers. Innovation Institute is created to
attract young scientists and engineers to help build HUST to become a world-
class university in the next 20 years.
Invited by President Peigeng Li of HUST and advised by prominent researchers
from US, we are looking for young talent with cross-disciplinary background
and interested in:
Nano materials, devices, and systems; Nano manufacturing
Micro-electro-mechanical Systems (MEMS) and 3D chip packaging
Multiple scale modeling, simulation and validation tools
Biomedical science and instrumentation
Optoelectronics and photonics technology
HUST will provide attractive salary, start-up package, and excellent
research conditions for successful candidates. Successful candidates will
also have the opportunity to be sent to one of the leading research groups
in the world as visiting scholars or post-docs for up to two years, with the
living costs covered by HUST. The Innovation Institute will adopt a system
similar to the tenure track system in USA for tenure promotion.
