Job Description
We are currently seeking application for postdoctoral positions in the area
of cellulose nanomaterials and nano-mechanical characterization of biobased
materials. The research will be carried out at the Research Institute of
Wood Industry, Chinese Academy of Forestry. The postdoctoral fellow will
join an on-going effort to develop and investigate cellulose based
nanomaterials including cellulose nanocrystals and cellulose nanofibrils,
and conduct nano-mechanical characterization of biobased materials. The
multidisciplinary nature of this research will allow the postdoctoral fellow
to utilize a wide range of material processing techniques and gain
expertise in biocomposite area. This position is available for two years
starting immediately.
Qualifications:
The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in polymer, nanocomposites,
cellulose or a closely related field. The ideal candidate must have an
expertise in polymer nanocomposites and cellulose nanomaterials. The
applicants should be self-motivated, team-oriented, committed, and focused.
One of degrees in chemistry will be a great help. The selected candidate
will be expected to write publications, assist in writing proposals and
guide students on the projects.

我国林业行业首个“千人计划”项目已在中国林业科学研究院木材工业研究所启动实施
。现面向海内外公开招收1~2名博士后。相关信息如下：
1. 方向任务
开展纳米尺观的理论与技术创新研究，协助重大项目立项、组建“木质纳米材料实验室
”和研发新型木质纳米功能材料（包括纳米纤维素的生产和应用）。
2. 合作导师（“千人计划”专家）
王思群博士，中国林科院木材工业研究所客座研究员、美国田纳西大学教授。
3. 应聘条件
海内外博士生或博士后（获得博士学位不超过两年），鼓励交叉学科学者申请。品学兼
优，身体健康，40岁以下。遵守学术道德规范，具有良好的团队协作精神。在站不兼职
，全脱产从事科学研究。
4. 条件待遇
在站时间2年，工资福利按照国家及中国林科院相关规定执行。在站表现优异者，可申
