标 题: 一个Regulatory Affairs的实习机会 - 顺便谈谈regulatory affairs

快新年之际给本版来点正能量吧。
刚收到朋友forward的邮件，他家（拜耳）regulatory affairs部门暑期在新泽西跟北
京貌似同时要招实习生，新泽西大概招4名，北京大概招3名。Application deadline是
一月底。北京的office要求是中国公民。貌似接受无经验(但最好略懂）的申请者。博
士优先。据朋友说往年最后录取者貌似中国人不少。实习的薪水方面，美国的薪水大概
在33-36刀每小时。有机会（但据说很不容易）在实习后拿到全职offer（朋友没拿到但
同批有人拿到）,base在80000-95000刀之间，年底双薪。所以第一年大概package在
95000到110000之间。起薪一般，但据说成长较快，知道的一个例子(n=1)这个intern拿
到全职后+四年经验在拜耳regulatory affairs, package大概会到140000+的样子。
顺便说说生物找regulatory affairs,本人曾经也是生物出生...几经辗转终于现在也在
做regulatory affairs,在一家biotech薪水不如上面的高（但也快达到了..)，但成长
空间还是不错的。。至少被裁员的风险小多了。。不过实话说regulatory affairs很少
提供entry level的职位，上面这个机会恐怕是难得的少数。Regulatory affairs在药
厂里属于R&D中的D，薪水会比R高些，起薪跟同级的统计师差不多，而且在药厂的职业
发展相对比统计要好。。。而且regulatory affairs最注重的是经验，等有一定经验后
，高阶职位大把大把的，可惜entry level真的很少。。楼主误打误撞折腾了很久。。
其实也没什么能建议的，大家要想进入regulatory affairs,无非就上上相关的课，有
办法考考RAPS的（RAC）考试。。最后当然最重要就是能做个实习。。不过还是要强调
，无经验真的不容易。。
同时牢骚两句，我们做基础生物的，老是被人黑，其实工业界工作虽然职位少，但薪水
还是可以的。而且基础生物学其实非常重要的，给还在做基础生物的兄弟一个赞！

with dynamic people and contribute to a changing environment.
Advanced degree (Masters/PhD/PharmD/MD) in policy/administration, public
health, life science, pharmacy, medicine, or related field. Good oral and
written communication skills. Ability to display poise and confidence and to
project professionalism in interacting with internal and external
stakeholders.
Students are eligible to apply if they meet the criteria required of all
interns including being legally entitled to work and earn money in the US.
It is the student’s responsibility to obtain the appropriate visa, if
applicable. As required by current immigration law, an offer of employment
